The majority of us are taught or teach ourselves to accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives in life. Just imagine! If it were possible to get rid of ALL negatives then there would only be positives left! Anyway, sometimes it's best to focus our attention on what not to do, on what to avoid, in order to reduce or avoid the negatives.
This article then, is about the way on how to prevent acne. It does not show you how or what to do, alternatively it offers 3 things you will want to avoid if you want to prevent acne.
With that preamble then, listed here are the 3 things you'll want to avoid:
1. Stress. The explanation on why you should not stress yourself is that stress causes the over-production of hormones. To reduce stress you'll want to possibly use relaxation techniques, such as Yoga and deep breathing.
2. Lack of exercise. For the reason that exercise re-balances hormones and reduces stress, you need to do exercise regularly to prevent acne eruptions.
3. Eating bad foods. Some foods are acid-forming foods, therefore you need to avoid them. Such foods are dairy products (milk, cheese, cream, yogurt etc), meats, refined and cooked carbohydrates (white flour, bread, rice, crisps and chips, sugar), cooked fats (fried food, hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, roasted nuts). Instead you should eat more alkaline-forming foods like fresh vegetables and fruit, nuts (but not peanuts as these contain alfatoxins) and seeds. Eat organic produce where possible. Drink still mineral water, preferably in glass bottles. Avoid foods stored in plastic packaging. You should also eat the so called hormone-regulating foods such as alfalfa, flax seed, oats, celery, parsley, rhubarb, fennel and evening primrose oil. Also avoid caffeine, because caffeine stimulates hormone production.
Carefully and conscientiously avoid these 3 common errors, embrace the alternatives offered instead, and your skin will be glowing.
