Are you searching for the best way to earn extra money online? Have you been told that you can see a greater webpage ranking if you run AdSense?

Those who look to the Web for the best way to make money online are well aware that myths abound with reference to the placement of a webpage in Google's search engines results and there's lots of falsehoods with reference to how Google decides to give a site page ranking. This is because the search engine giant doesn't like to let go of trade secrets and correctly so. Of course, this has the understandable consequence of people speculating regarding what would be a system to manipulate rankings. Speculation leads some to believe that anyone running AdSense promotions on a website or blog will quickly notice an increase in their website or blog positioning in the search engines.

On the surface, it would seem logical that Google would offer special consideration for those that operate AdSense on a site. Why is this so? Google makes billions of dollars each year with AdSense advertising. It would appear to make perfect sense if you wanted to earn money online fast that if your site was AdSense advertisements then they would receive preferential treatment, would it not?

Well, it might look that way and this is well enough for some folks. Cause of the inherent "logic" of the assumption, nearly all are of the opinion that exhibiting AdSense advertisements would be amongst the most fitting steps to take in order to enhance search engine ranking. This would benefit all parties across the board, correct? The website will attain higher search engine rank and Google would experience added revenues via its AdSense ads. The whole process makes perfect sense, does it not?

Actually, there is not logic, sense, or reality to these assumptions. They're merely assumptions based on facts not in evidence. The truth of the matter, the only truth here, is that Google does not present any added favors to those webpages or blogs that have AdSense ads promoted on them. No, you will not watch an increase in website or blog placement if you have AdSense advertisements on your site.

Actually, it would not be wise for Google to take on such a process. Doing so would weaken the reliability of the search engine rankings and would also undermine the trust advertisers have in the genuine advantage of AdSense since placement could be so brazenly manipulated. When the trustworthiness of an advertiser is questionable, the advertising venture loses a lot of its perceived advantage. Issues such as this are why Google would not be interested in offering any policies (official or otherwise) which would promote such unmistakable manipulation.

Long term users of Google don't like to be used either. They'll want to find webpage or blog that is legitimately relevant. Manipulation of the search engines would do little more than turn Google search rankings into little more than variants on advertisements. Again, this would injure the credibility of Google. Sure, a short term gain would be delivered but the long term damage could prove destructive.

It follows that, such manipulation is completely avoided.

So, how do these myths and rumors spread? Well, internet marketers who are searching for great ways to make money online fast often just make things up! Thankfully, ascertaining the validity of such assessments is possible if you're willing to perform the proper due diligence. Sadly, most bloggers aren't, which is why they take such assumptions on their face value.much to the chagrin of Google.
