Learning to Speak Japanese

Let's use an example. Small children will first learn the way their home tongue sounds like when their dad and mom speak to them. They study by way of careful listening. Hearing new words on a regular basis, they'll assimilate them into their own vocabulary for later. Have you ever observed that for those who ask a toddler to "bring me the ball," he'll comply long before he's in a position to form the words himself? HE knows the phrases, he just can't use them yet. If you want to learn Japanese, you will go through the same journey of recognizing, defining, then replicating words.
Now writing is a slightly totally different story. Those don't even seem like letters to me. That's something you will decide whether or not you should study or not. If you are simply planning to go to Japan for a brief vacation, then you probably may not need to study to read Japanese to begin with. Now if you wish to totally use the Japanese language, you'll need to learn to write it.
There are two major sections of the written Japanese language, the kanas, hiragana, and katakana, that you will have to learn. Make a study guide! Honestly, speaking is probably the most crucial element of the Japanese language.
IF you'll be able to speak with Japanese speakers in their native tongue, you'll accomplish most anything you could in Japan. Most importantly, regardless of your technique for studying it, be sure you go out and have fun as someone who can really interact with Japanese culture!
