Make Money At Home With Newsletters

A lot of my previous make money at home articles and videos have spoken of how profitable building a mailing list can be. But what do you do with the list once you have it? Here are some newsletter tips.

 

1. The newsletter should contain valuable content to the subscriber so that they will want to open your emails, ideally they should look forward to seeing your email as they know it will provide them with benefit.

 

2. It's important to look at your newsletter as a means of building rapport and solid relationships with your subscribers. You need to build their trust, this way they are more likely to buy the products you recommend.

 

3. Next on my list of newsletter tips is having a good subject line this is what grabs the subscriber's attention and gets them to open it. You could have the best written newsletter in the world but if the subject line isn't good it's unlikely to be opened.

 

4. When it comes to the layout of the email, keep sentences short (don't go over three and a half inches). When sentences are this length; readers don't have to pivot their head as much and so can read your email quickly and easily. This way they are more likely to click the link in your email and buy whatever product you are promoting.

 

5. Different marketers have different opinions on what length email is most effective and what words to put where and if they should be all cap locks etc. There is no such thing as a right or wrong answer; you'll find out which is most effective for you by testing them on your list.

 

6. A good pointer to get you started is to subscribe to some successful marketers in your niche and any email that you think is good, save it for future use (swipe file). In fact, a lot of marketers whose products you can affiliate will have prewritten and tested emails which you can use, which will in turn enable you to make money at home consistently.
