Make Money At Home But First Write Your Goals Down

Every person who aspires to make money at home should write down his or her goals. When I say this, I do not mean that you should write down on a piece of paper that you want to make money at home. Rather, you need to write your specific goals down. In other words, "Why do you want to make money at home?" Is it because you want to write your own paycheck, be your own boss, eliminate your commute, etc.?

Having a goal sitting in your head may not help that much. In fact, every "goal setting" book which you will ever read (at least the good ones) will insist that you write your goals down and make them visible. Doing so makes you accountable to yourself, and in essence, publishes your goals to something which is inanimate, and outside of your body.

In order to clearly identify your goals, you need to clearly identify what it is that you want to accomplish. Run this through your mind, and determine exactly what it is that you are trying to achieve. For example, let us look at the person who wants to make money at home. More specifically, this person wants to make at least $1000 in the next 30 days.

First, this person needs to write the goal of making $1000 in the next 30 days on a piece of paper. Next, this person will need to write down what exactly needs to be done in order to achieve this goal. Then, they will need to write down exactly why they need at least $1000 in the next 30 days. The "why" is what motivates us. This is the end goal which keeps us going.

When setting your goals to make money at home, they must be obtainable. Aside from being realistically obtainable, we must also have complete faith that we will obtain them. You must believe that you can achieve any goal that you write down, and follow the steps to take you to that goal. You must shift your belief system in a direction which tells you that you are assured success if you follow the path.

Every time you are successful in reaching your goals, you need to acknowledge this to yourself. For instance, your goal of making $1000 in the next 30 days may have been motivated by your desire to purchase a vacation to Miami for Spring Break. Of course, your reward is the vacation to Miami.

Just keep in mind that once you accomplish your first goal to make money at home, every goal to make money at home thereafter becomes easier and easier. Conversely, if you do not accomplish your goal, now you know what not to do. Go back to the drawing board, and just do not make the same mistake twice.
