Make Money Online - Targeted Traffic Is More Important Than You Know

So many bloggers fail to understand why, although they are incredibly popular, they fail to make money online from the Pay Per Click (PPC) ads on their blog. The biggest factor why they are not making money from their PPC ads, is because their traffic is not targeted.

This situation is difficult to accept by a blogger who feels that their knowledge is worthy some gratefulness from visitors who read their blog. They expect visitors pay back their goodwill  by clicking on the ads being displayed in their free blog. Unfortunately, visitors do not do what we wish, rather, they do what they want. If somebody reaches your blog looking for something to read, they will not click your ads unless you do not provide them with what they are looking for. Usually bloggers write for people to become loyal readers which is counterintuitive to the idea which will compel them to click on your ads.

If you have a blog or a website, do not ask your visitors to click on your ads. This is against the terms of any ad provide. It is much better if you analyse and understand why your readers do not click on your ads.

If you have a blog and have people visiting you to see what you read, do not expect them to click in your ads. They come to read what you have to tell them, they do not come to click on your ads just beacuse they are there.

If you want to make money online, you need visitors who are looking for something. For example, if you write about pet supplies, then you need visitors who are looking for pet supplies. Since the theme of your blog will be about pet supplies, you need to place ads about pet supplies. These are the ads which will most likely be clicked by those visitors.

In order for you to get visitors who are looking for your topic, and have a higher probability of clicking your ads, you need to get traffic from search engines. Traffic from the search engines is referred to as targeted traffic. It is targeted because your visitor has already typed a word in the search engine and come to your blog looking for information on that subject. If your blog or website cannot provide the visitor with the answer which they were looking for, but an ad appears to have the answers, it is highly likely that they will click this ad. Hence, targeted traffic to your blog or website is the key to make money online.
